Lisa Craig - Devon Celebrant
More about me…….
I am very lucky to live in East Devon, by the sea! I have four children and a dog, Daisy.
I have been a Paramedic for 33 years and so have experienced a huge amount of ‘life’ and its moments.
I have an amazing group of friends and I enjoy many different activities with them. I enjoy all year round sea-dipping (with chat, cake and coffee), racquetball (again with lots of chat), travelling, walking Daisy, and spending time with my children (actually young adults but they will always be my children)!
My ultimate happy place is anywhere outside, but I do love just sitting on the beach and watching the waves (probably with coffee and cake)!
Over the years I have also been involved in local community groups, supporting others and volunteering during the Covid pandemic.
I love suggesting ‘challenges’ to my friends which result in lots of eye-rolling but eventually I drag them along with my hair-brain schemes! We have cycled 100 miles in a day, walked 26 miles of undulating coastline (in a day) and swimming across the channel (in a pool)!
I do love life and I love ‘love’ – so if you would like me to script your perfect ceremony then please do contact me.
Big thanks to Sarah Hall Photography for the images on the website.
What makes me different?… (Just don’t ask my children!)
- I will endeavour to do anything, as a celebrant, to make your wishes and ideas for your ceremony come true.
- If you have your dog with you, then rest assured I will bring ‘poo bags’, dog treats and a bowl of water – after all they may well turn out to be the star of your event.
- For any of your guests with hearing concerns then we will seat them appropriately so they don’t miss a single word (if you would prefer a microphone to be used then we can do that too).
- For sight impaired guests then again, we can make sure they are with someone who can describe the events or sit them closer to the action.

- We can have an area to park walking aids and wheel chairs for anyone who needs that extra care and attention. Cushions to sit on are definitely worth considering – although the joy and love in your ceremony may well distract your guests from any discomfort.
- If anyone can’t make it then let’s get them dialled in on a stream – whatspp, zoom – they are special too!
- Would you love younger members of friends and family to attend – depending on their ages, let’s get them involved.
- Have you decided to have a ceremonial ritual – traditional or original? We will make sure any guests involved are practiced and feel the warmth of being involved in your ceremony.
- My ‘ceremony first aid kit’ will be discreetly available – sewing kit, tissues, water, plasters, umbrellas, wellies – and anything else you may need to stop you having worries!
- And finally…..as a paramedic then you know that you have the best care and attention should any other ‘incident’ occur – we know how sometimes it can all become overwhelming – happy or sad.
I am beyond excited to be your celebrant and celebrate what makes you ‘different’ too!

‘Lisa is an outstanding and truly uplifting celebrant, who proudly puts
her heart & soul into every single ceremony, to provide an outstanding
and highly professional service. It has been an absolute pleasure to
work with her and I would not hesitate to book her again.’
